How To Make Baked Sea Bass with Fennel

Ingredients

  • 4 sea bass fillets
  • 2 fennel bulbs, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Season the sea bass fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.

  3. In a baking dish, arrange the fennel slices and minced garlic at the bottom.

  4. Drizzle olive oil over the fennel and garlic, and toss to coat evenly.

  5. Place the sea bass fillets on top of the fennel and garlic mixture.

  6. Arrange lemon slices on top of each fillet.

  7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.

  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the sea bass is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
