How To Make Italian Meatballs with Orzo

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups cooked orzo pasta
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, parsley, milk, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.

While the meatballs are baking, cook the orzo pasta according to package instructions.

Heat the marinara sauce in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the cooked meatballs to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until heated through.

Serve the meatballs and marinara sauce over the cooked orzo pasta.

Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil. Enjoy!
