How To Make Clam Scampi Recipe
A delicious seafood dish made with fresh clams cooked in garlic butter sauce.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 lbs fresh littleneck clams
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb spaghetti
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions

Scrub the clams thoroughly and discard any that are open.

Cook spaghetti according to package directions, reserving a cup of pasta water for the sauce.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the clams and white wine to the skillet and cover with a lid. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until all the clams have opened.

Toss the cooked spaghetti into the pan with the sauce, add parsley and salt and pepper to taste. Add pasta water if needed to thin out the sauce.

Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
