A delicious and easy stir-fry dish that combines succulent clams and crisp vegetables in a flavorful sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of small clams, cleaned and rinsed
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tsp of sesame oil
  • ½ cup of chicken broth

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch, soy sauce, sesame oil, and chicken broth. Set aside.

  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Add the garlic and onion to the skillet and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.

  4. Add the bell peppers and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  5. Add the clams to the skillet and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes or until they open up.

  6. Pour the sauce into the skillet and continue to stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.

  7. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
