How To Make Clam and Shrimp Boil Recipe
A hearty seafood boil with clams and shrimp in a spicy broth.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 lbs clams
- 1 lb shrimp
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 2 cups water
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 4 ears of corn, cut in quarters
- 4 potatoes, cut in small chunks
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 lemon, cut in wedges
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Bring stock and water to a boil in a large pot.

Add onion, garlic, Old Bay seasoning, and cayenne pepper.

Add potatoes and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add corn, clams, and shrimp. Simmer for 10-15 minutes or until clams are opened.

Drain broth and place seafood and vegetables on a large platter.

Melt butter and pour over seafood.

Serve with lemon wedges and season with salt and pepper.
