  • 2tspvegetable oil
  • 1onion,chopped
  • 2lbsground beef
  • 4green bell peppers,chopped
  • 14½oztomatoes,(1 can) diced
  • 8oztomato sauce,(1 can)
  • 6oztomato paste,(1 can)
  • 1tspred pepper flakes,crushed

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat; cook the onion in the hot oil until tender, about 5 minutes.

  2. Add the ground beef, bell peppers, tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and red pepper flakes to the saucepan. Stir.

  3. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer until the peppers are soft and the beef is tender, 4 to 6 hours.
