How To Make Open-Faced Shrimp Po’ Boy Sandwich Recipe

A delicious twist on the classic Po’ Boy with open-faced presentation making it easy to serve and enjoy!

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 tsp of Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 4 slices of French bread
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp of hot sauce
  • 1/2 head of iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, combine the shrimp, garlic, Cajun seasoning, and olive oil. Mix well.
  3. Spread the shrimp mixture on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
  4. Slice the French bread into 4 pieces and toast in the oven for 2-3 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and hot sauce together.
  6. Spread the hot sauce mayonnaise on the toasted bread slices.
  7. Top each slice with shredded lettuce and roasted shrimp.
  8. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top and season with salt and pepper to taste.
