How To Make Open-Faced Tomato and Mozzarella Sandwich Recipe

Light and fresh sandwich with ripe tomatoes, creamy mozzarella and tangy balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of crusty bread
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Toast bread in the oven or on a grill pan.

  2. Layer mozzarella on top of the bread, followed by sliced tomatoes.

  3. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the top and season with salt and black pepper.

  4. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
