How To Make Open-Faced Roast Beef Sandwich

A savory and hearty sandwich with tender roast beef, creamy mashed potatoes, and fresh herbs on top of crispy bread.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of sourdough bread
  • 8 oz. thinly sliced roast beef
  • 1 cup mashed potatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Brush bread slices with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Bake bread for 10-12 minutes, until crispy.

  4. Top each slice of bread with mashed potatoes and roast beef.

  5. Return to oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until heated through.

  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
