How To Make Pear, Blue Cheese, and Walnut Pizza

- ½unsalted butter stick,softened
- 3tbspthyme,fresh, chopped
- 2tbsplemon juice
- 2tbspsage,fresh, chopped
- 1clovegarlic,minced
- ½tspsalt
- ½tspblack pepper,ground
- 1tbspvegetable oil
- 1small red onion,thinly sliced
- ⅓cupwalnuts,finely chopped
- 1pizza dough,prepared
- 15ozpears,(1 can) drained and thinly sliced
- ¼cupbacon,cooked, chopped
- ¼cupblue cheese,crumbled
Instructions

Mix butter, thyme, lemon juice, sage, garlic, salt, and pepper together in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently for about 3 minutes until butter melts. Transfer herb butter to a container and refrigerate for about 1½ hours until solid.

Preheat the oven to 475 degrees F. Lightly oil a rimmed baking sheet.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and add onion. Cook, stirring frequently, for about 5 minutes until onions are translucent. Remove from heat.

Heat another skillet over medium-high heat. Add walnuts and stir frequently for about 1 minute until browned.

Press pizza dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread herb butter over dough and top generously with cooked onions. Sprinkle walnuts on top of onions and distribute pear slices evenly on top.

Sprinkle bacon on top of pears and top with blue cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes until crust has risen and browned.
