How To Make Spicy Spaghetti with Garlic Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant and golden brown.

Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and become tender.

Stir in red pepper flakes, dried oregano, diced tomatoes, and vegetable broth. Simmer for 10 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until well coated with the sauce.

Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley for garnish.
