How To Make Hot Pastrami Bagels

A savory and delicious bagel sandwich made with hot pastrami, melted cheese, and tangy mustard.

Ingredients

  • 4 bagels, cut in half
  • 1 pound of hot pastrami
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 4 tablespoons of mustard
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. Place the bagel halves on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 5 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, heat the pastrami in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through.

  4. Once the bagels are toasted, spread mustard on each half.

  5. Top one half of each bagel with a generous amount of pastrami and a slice of Swiss cheese.

  6. Place the bagels back in the oven and broil for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. Remove from the oven and top with sliced red onion.

  8. Place the remaining half of each bagel on top to form a sandwich.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
