How To Make Pasta with Peas and Sausage

  • 8 ounces of pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 pound sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.

  3. Add the sliced sausage to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

  4. Stir in the frozen peas and chicken broth. Cook for another 5 minutes, or until the peas are heated through.

  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
