Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef stew meat, cubed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 3 potatoes, cubed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Season the beef stew meat with salt and pepper, then brown it in the skillet until browned on all sides.

Transfer the browned meat to the slow cooker.

Lower the heat to medium, then add the onions and garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onions are translucent.

Add the flour to the skillet and stir for a minute.

Slowly add the beef broth to the skillet, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
