How To Make Pasta de Sardine Recipe

Ingredients
- 8 ounces of pasta
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion, minced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can (4.25 ounces) of sardines, drained and chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced onion and garlic and cook until softened.

Add the chopped sardines and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Stir in the cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine everything well.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the flavors are well combined and the pasta is heated through.

Serve the pasta de sardine hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
