How To Make Sardine Croquettes
Crunchy on the outside, flavorful on the inside, these sardine croquettes are perfect for a snack or appetizer.

Ingredients
- 2 cans of sardines in olive oil, drained and mashed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions

In a bowl, mix together the mashed sardines, breadcrumbs, parsley, onion, egg, flour, salt, and pepper.

Form the mixture into small balls or croquette shapes.

Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

Fry the croquettes until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Drain on a paper towel.
