
How To Make Old Fashioned Mac and Cheese
Grab a bite of this creamy mac and cheese, loaded with three types of cheese, for a filling and delectable take on the classic side!

Ingredients
- 2cupselbow macaroni,uncooked
- 4tbspbutter
- 2tbspall-purpose flour
- 2cupsmilk
- ¼onion,minced
- salt and pepper,to taste
- ¼lbprocessed cheese food
- ¼lbcheddar cheese,shredded
- ¼lbswiss cheese,shredded
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Prepare the elbow macaroni according to package directions.

Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir in the flour until a cream-colored paste forms.

Pour in the milk, stir constantly until this comes to a hard boil, then stir for 1 more minute. Remove from heat and set aside.

When the macaroni is cooked, spread ½ of it into the bottom of a lightly greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

Layer ½ of the grated onion, ½ of the salt and pepper, and ½ of each of the processed cheese food, cheddar cheese, and swiss cheese.

Repeat layers, and finish off by pouring the reserved white sauce all over. Top off with small pats of butter, to taste.

Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
