How To Make Mussels and Shrimp Slow-Cooker Pasta

An easy-to-make red sauce-based shrimp and mussels pasta.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz spaghetti pasta, cooked and cooled
  • ½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 24 oz marinara sauce, (2 jars)
  • 5½ oz red onion, chopped
  • 5 oz mussels
  • ¼ cup red wine
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ tsp dried thyme
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pc bay leaf
  • 1 tsp parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp parsley, chopped
  • salt and ground black pepper, to taste

For Serving:

  • ¼ tsp parsley
  • 1 tbsp parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients, except for the seasonings, inside a crockpot. Cover the crockpot and cook its contents on high for about 2 hours.

  2. Once you're done cooking, adjust seasoning to taste with salt and pepper

  3. Sprinkle some parmesan cheese and garnish with parsley. Serve. Bon Appetit!
