
How To Make Acieni de Pepe
Acieni de pepe is the Italian term for pepper seeds and refers to small round-shaped pasta as well. In this recipe, they’re cooked with cabbage and tomato.

Ingredients
- 1pkgwhole wheat acieni de pepe pasta
- 2tbspolive oil
- ½sticksweet butter
- 1smallred onion
- 4clovegarlic
- 2tomatoes
- 1smallhead cabbage
- cuppine nuts
- cupchicken stock
- ¾cupgoat cheese
Instructions

Cook pasta according to package directions. In a large sauté pan add oil and butter.

Add onions and garlic on high heat and sauté about 5 minutes.

Add rest of vegetables and pine nuts, and cook for 15 minutes on medium to high heat.

Add chicken stock and goat cheese.

Toss pasta in with vegetables and serve.
