How To Make Garlic Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 4tbspunsalted butter
  • 1tbspolive oil
  • ½onionchopped, optional
  • 1lbcremini mushroomsor button mushrooms
  • 2tbspdry white wineoptional
  • 1tspfresh thyme leaveschopped
  • 2tbspfresh parsleychopped
  • 4garlic clovesminced
  • Salt and pepperto taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the butter and oil in a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Sauté the onion for 3 minutes until softened.

  3. Add the mushrooms and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes until golden and crispy on the edges.

  4. Pour in the wine and cook for 2 minutes, to reduce slightly.

  5. Stir in the thyme, 1 tablespoon of parsley and garlic.

  6. Cook for a further 30 seconds or until fragrant.

  7. Season generously with salt and pepper to taste.

  8. Sprinkle with remaining parsley, serve warm, and enjoy!
