- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/2 pound ground veal
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/4 teaspoon dried sage
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, ground veal, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, and milk. Mix until well combined.

Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

In a separate pot, combine the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, thyme, rosemary, and sage. Stir well.

Add the meatballs to the pot with the tomato sauce. Cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
