This traditional mini bacon burger is a great classic tasting American food. As an appetizer your guests can soak up some original flavors before they move onto the main course.
How To Make Mini Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 3/4 lb. cheddar cheese (sliced )
- 1 pkg. cooked bacon
- 12 mini dinner rolls
- 1 head leaf lettuce
- 2 large red tomatoes
- Shape into 12 mini patties. Broil or grill patties 4-6 minutes for medium doneness (160°F internal temperature), turning once.
- Microwave or grill bacon and follow the directions on the package.
- Arrange burgers on rolls and top with cheddar cheese.
- Add lettuce and tomato if desired.
How To Make Mini Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 9 oz bacon rashers, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsps Italian seasoning
- ¾ lb cheddar cheese, grated
- 12 mini dinner rolls, halved
- 1-13 oz head leaf lettuce, torn
- 2- 5 oz red tomatoes, sliced
- 12 bacon rashers, roughly 12 oz total, cooked
- Short skewers for assembly
Dressing:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup prepared mustard
- ¼ cup red onions, finely minced
- 2 tbsps pickle relish
- Salt & ground black pepper to taste
To serve:
- Potato fries
Instructions
- Combine ground beef, chopped bacon, salt, pepper, & italian seasoning. Mix until evenly incorporated
- Seal & transfer to a chilled area. Allow the beef mixture to be cold for easier shaping & intensify flavors, roughly 1 hour
- While waiting, prepare the dressing. Combine all ingredients for the dressing until evenly incorporated
- Season to taste with salt & pepper. Adjust accordingly. Set aside
- Preheat your oven to broiling temperature
- Shape into 12 mini patties. Broil or grill patties 4-6 minutes for medium doneness (160°F internal temperature), turning once
- Transfer your patties to a roasting tray & top with roughly 2 tbsps grated cheddar on all patties.
- Broil your patties in a preheated oven until the cheese melts. Set aside
- Toast your dinner rolls
- Assemble the sliders. Layer roughly 2 tsps of the dressing on both top & bottom halves of the dinner rolls
- Place the burger patties on the bottom half of the dinner rolls
- Next, layer tomatoes & torn lettuce on top of the patty
- Finally, layer a bacon rasher on top of the lettuce, cover the sandwich & press down gently. You can also use skewers to hold the sandwich in place
- Serve the sliders together with potato fries on the side
