Serve a boozy snack with these fried tequila shots. It’s made of tequila-soaked cake pieces fried until golden, then dusted with powdered sugar.

- vegetable oil
- ½cuptequila
- 1lime,juiced
- 1angel food cake,store bought, cut into cubes
- ¼cuppowdered sugar
- 1tbsplime zest
Instructions

In a large pot, over medium heat, pour vegetable oil at least 3-inch high in the pan. Heat oil.

Mix tequila and lime juice.

Dip each cake cube into the tequila mixture, then fry for 2 minutes until golden.

Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.

Garnish with powdered sugar and lime zest and serve.
