
How To Make Cheesy Broccoli Cauliflower Casserole
This hearty, cheesy broccoli cauliflower casserole is made with an easy DIY cheese sauce and buttery bread crumbs, for a delicious side to any savory dish!

Ingredients
- 4cupsfresh broccoli,cut into bite sized pieces
- 4cupsfresh cauliflower,cut into bite sized pieces
- 4tbspbutter,divided
- 2tbspall-purpose flour
- 1cupmilk
- ¼tspsalt
- 3ozcream cheese
- ¼tspgarlic powder
- ¼tspblack pepper
- ½tspdry mustard powder
- 1cupsharp cheddar cheese,shredded
- ½cupPanko breadcrumbs
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Combine 2 tablespoons of butter with bread crumbs, then set aside.

Boil the cauliflower in a large pot for about 2 minutes. Add in the broccoli and cook for about 2 minutes more, or until tender-crisp. Drain well.

In a saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add in the flour, stirring until smooth. Add the milk, whisking constantly over medium heat, until thick and bubbly.

Stir in the salt, cream cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, and mustard powder until smooth. Add in the cheddar cheese.

Toss with broccoli and cauliflower. Top with breadcrumbs mixture.

Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through.
