How To Make Barbecue Pineapple, Jalapeño and Feta Pizza
Barbecue sauce serves as the base of this feta pizza. It’s then topped with spicy jalapenos and sweet pineapples to make this fun vegetarian dish.

Ingredients
- 1batchwhole wheat pizza dough,see notes below for recipe, seasoned generously with freshly groundb lack pepper
- ½cupbarbecue sauce
- 8ozpart-skim mozzarella cheese,(2 cups), grated
- ⅓lbfresh pineapple chunks,(1 cup sliced), sliced into ¼-inch thick, bite-sized pieces
- ⅓cuppickled jalapeños
- 3ozfeta,(½ cup), crumbled
- 3tbspred onion,finely chopped
For Optional Garnishes:
- red pepper flakes
- fresh cilantro,chopped, a light sprinkling
- barbecue sauce
- smoky hot sauce
Instructions

Preheat oven to 500 degrees F with a rack in the upper third of the oven. If using a baking stone or baking steel, place it in the oven on the top rack.

Evenly spread ¼ cup barbecue sauce over each pizza. Divide toppings evenly over the two pizzas, beginning with grated mozzarella, followed by sliced pineapple, pickled jalapeños, crumbled feta and chopped onion.

Bake pizzas individually on the top rack for about 12 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is golden and bubbly (or significantly less, if using a baking stone/steel).

Transfer pizza to a cutting board, slice and serve with desired garnishes on the side.
