How To Make Chicken Masala Skewers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into small cubes
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for grilling
  • Onion and bell pepper, diced (optional for skewering)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well to make a marinade.

  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.

  3. If using onion and bell pepper, thread the chicken cubes alternately with the vegetables onto skewers.

  4. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat.

  5. Brush some oil on the grill or grill pan. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and charred.

  6. Remove from the grill and serve hot with mint yogurt sauce or any dipping sauce of your choice.
