Rhubarb BBQ Beef Ribs Recipe

How To Make Rhubarb BBQ Beef Ribs

For the barbecue sauce, we've added sliced of rhubarb with onion soup mix, honey, rose wine and chili sauce for a smokey and meaty flavor with a touch of sweet subtle taste

  • 4 lb lean beef short ribs (meaty )
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ tsp seasoned salt

Barbecue Sauce:

  • 1 cup rhubarb (sliced )
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix (1 1/2 oz..)
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ⅓ cup chili sauce
  • ¾ cup rose wine
  • ⅓ cup water
  • ½ tsp basil
  • ⅙ tsp pepper

Garnish:

  • red onion
  • greens
  1. Place ribs in 9 X 13-inch pan. Add ½ cup water.

  2. Sprinkle with seasoned salt.
  3. Cover with foil.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F for two hours.

  5. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients except garnish in a sauce pan.
  6. Simmer ½ hour. Pour over ribs.

  7. Bake another ½ hour uncovered.

  8. Baste several times.
  9. Place on serving plate. Garnish.
