How To Make Kalbi (Korean BBQ Short Ribs)

Ingredients
- 2 pounds of beef short ribs
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions

In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, green onions, sesame seeds, black pepper, and water to make the marinade.

Place the short ribs in a large ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the meat.

Marinate the short ribs for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Remove the short ribs from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off.

Grill the short ribs for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are cooked to your desired doneness.

Serve the Kalbi hot off the grill with steamed rice and kimchi.
