How To Make Spicy Canned Tuna Fish Cakes
This recipe for fish cakes uses canned tuna, which you’ll often have lying idly in your pantry. Serve with mayo and limes if desired for more flavor.

Ingredients
- 12oztuna,(1 can), drained
- ½cupscallions,chopped
- ½cupdry bread crumbs,or as needed
- 1large egg
- 1tbspdijon mustard
- 1tspgarlic powder
- 1tspsriracha
- salt and ground black pepper,to taste
- 2tbspolive oil,or as needed
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine tuna, scallions, bread crumbs, egg, mustard, garlic powder, Sriracha, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until the mixture sticks together.

Divide into 6 equal portions and shape into patties.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Pan-fry the patties for about 3 minutes on each side until deeply browned and crispy. Transfer to a small baking tray.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 5 to 7 minutes until the center of the fish cakes are firm.
