How To Make Quinoa Fish Cakes Recipe
Tender fish cakes made with quinoa, fresh fish, and herbs, pan-fried until golden brown and served with a zesty lime aioli.

Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh white fish fillets
- 1 cup cooked quinoa
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh herbs (parsley, cilantro, dill)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked quinoa, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped herbs, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

Add the fresh fish fillets to the bowl and fold the ingredients together until well combined. Try to keep the fish in large chunks.

Add the lightly beaten egg to the bowl and mix again.

Add the flour and breadcrumbs to the bowl and mix until a sticky mixture forms.

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into small fish cakes.

Heat a large pan over medium heat and add enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan.

Place the fish cakes in the pan and cook for about 4-6 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.

Serve the fish cakes with lime wedges and a zesty lime aioli.
