  • 1 lb white fish fillets
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the fish fillets, mayonnaise, chopped parsley, chopped green onions, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

  2. Shape the fish mixture into patties and then coat them in the beaten eggs, followed by the bread crumbs.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the fish cakes for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

  4. Remove the fish cakes from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

  5. Serve the fish cakes hot, with your favorite dipping sauce or tartar sauce.
