How To Make Baked Lasagna Recipe
A classic Italian comfort food made with layers of pasta, meat sauce, and cheese.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 jar (24 oz) of marinara sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Cook lasagna noodles as per package instructions and set aside.

In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef along with onions and garlic until no longer pink.

Stir in the marinara sauce, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.

In a separate bowl, whisk egg then add ricotta cheese and stir well.

In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce.

Place 3 cooked lasagna noodles on top of the sauce and then spread half of the ricotta mixture on top.

Add another layer of meat sauce and repeat the layering process until you have used up all the ingredients.

Sprinkle Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top of the lasagna.

Bake the lasagna for 30-40 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden brown.

Let the lasagna cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
