Ingredients
- 1 sheet of ready-made puff pastry
- 1 cup of fresh cherries, pitted and halved
- 1/2 cup of almond meal
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of mascarpone cheese
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Roll out the puff pastry and place it in a tart pan, trimming off any excess.

In a bowl, mix together the almond meal, sugar, mascarpone cheese, lemon zest, lemon juice, and flour until well combined.

Spread the almond mixture evenly onto the pastry.

Arrange the cherry halves on top of the almond mixture.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the cherries are soft.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool before dusting with powdered sugar.

Serve refrigerated or at room temperature.
