How To Make Caramelised Mushroom Tartlets

Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 2 cups of mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tbsp of butter
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp of fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Roll out the puff pastry and cut out 4 small circles. Place the circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 10 minutes. Stir in the thyme leaves, salt, and pepper.

Remove the skillet from the heat and let the mushroom mixture cool slightly.

Divide the mushroom mixture evenly among the puff pastry circles, leaving a small border around the edges.

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the tartlets.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the tartlets are golden brown and crisp.

Serve hot as an appetizer or a light main dish.
