  • 1 ½ cups lukewarm water
  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 10 minutes until the yeast is frothy.

  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the bowl and mix until dough forms.

  3. Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.

  4. Leave the dough to rise in a warm place for approximately 1 hour until doubled in size.

  5. Preheat oven to 475°F.

  6. Divide the dough into 8 equal parts, flatten each into a disk.

  7. Place dough rounds on a baking sheet and bake for 5-8 minutes.

  8. Serve warm and enjoy.
