How To Make Del Taco’s Spicy Grilled Chicken Burritos

A spicy and flavorful grilled chicken burrito from Del Taco.

Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced tomato
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeno
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, combine chili powder, oregano, cumin, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to make a spice rub.

  3. Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and sprinkle spice rub generously on both sides.

  4. Grill chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

  5. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing into small strips.

  6. Warm tortillas in the microwave for 30 seconds or on a skillet.

  7. On each tortilla, add sliced chicken, diced tomato, onion, jalapeno, fresh cilantro, shredded cheese, and a dollop of sour cream.

  8. Roll up the tortilla tightly and serve immediately.
