Ingredients
- 125g unsalted butter, softened
- 125g caster sugar
- 2 medium eggs
- 125g self-raising flour
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp milk
- 100g chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well combined.

Sift in the flour and cocoa powder, then gently fold into the butter mixture.

Stir in the milk to loosen the batter, then fold in the chocolate chips.

Spoon the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cake comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let cool completely before decorating.
