Ingredients

  • 1 pound of pasta
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions.

  2. While the pasta cooks, make the pesto by combining basil leaves, parmesan cheese, pine nuts, garlic, and salt and pepper in a food processor.

  3. Stream in olive oil and blend until smooth.

  4. Drain cooked pasta and toss with the pesto until evenly coated.

  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
