How To Make Vegetarian Tofu Banh Mi Sandwich Recipe
A flavorful vegetarian twist on the classic Vietnamese banh mi sandwich, filled with crispy tofu, pickled vegetables, and bold spices.

Ingredients
- 1 block firm tofu, sliced into 8 pieces
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 4 French baguettes
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 1/2 cup pickled carrots and daikon radish
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 jalapeno pepper, thinly sliced
Instructions

Press tofu to remove excess water, then coat in cornstarch.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add tofu slices and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5 minutes per side.
