A delicious fish dish with a tangy lemon and caper sauce.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 Walleye fillets
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup seasoned flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp capers, drained
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions

Season walleye fillets with salt and pepper.

Coat with seasoned flour, shaking off the excess.

Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.

Add fillets and cook until browned on both sides, about 3 minutes per side.

Remove fillets from the pan and set aside.

Add wine, chicken broth, lemon juice, and butter to the same pan.

Bring to a boil, stirring constantly to scrape up any browned bits.

Add capers and cook for 1 more minute.

Pour sauce over walleye fillets and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
