How To Make Jasmine Tea

Known for its floral aroma, this jasmine tea makes the best alternative for your regular cup of joe. Have a sweet steaming cup in just 5 minutes.

  • 1 cup water, plus more to warm teapot
  • tsp jasmine loose tea


  1. Boil water. If using an electric kettle with a temperature setting, set it to 175 degrees F. If boiling water on the stovetop, let it come to a simmer, then turn off the heat.

  2. Heat a little more water than needed so that it can be used to warm up the teapot.

  3. Pour some hot water into the teapot and swirl it around a bit. Discard the water.

  4. Put jasmine tea into teapot and add hot water.

  5. Cover teapot and steep for 3 minutes.

  6. Strain jasmine tea leaves and pour hot tea into a teacup.

  7. Serve and enjoy.
