How To Make Colorful Tequila Sunrise Cocktail
Just a sip of this bright, citrus-flavored cocktail won’t be enough! Make the party more colorful and energetic with the orange-and-red colors of our Tequila Sunrise Cocktail Recipe.
Fill the cocktail glass with your preferred amount of cracked ice. Then add the tequila, and orange juice. Stir well.
Pour grenadine slowly over the back of a spoon or down the side of the glass. Allow it to settle at the bottom and slowly rise.
Garnish with a slice of orange and Maraschino cherry. Then serve and enjoy!
Be sure not to stir the drink as you want the gradient effect of popping orange and red. The grenadine will slowly rise after sink, creating the image of a sunrise. Once you stir the drink, the layered effect will be gone, and you’ll be left with a one-toned drink.
