How To Make St. Germain Cocktail

Mix up a soothing glass of St. Germain cocktail after a long week of work! St. Germain is shaken with gin and topped with champagne.

Ingredients

  • 1 1⁄2 fl oz dry gin, such as Hendrick’s or Tanqueray, or vodka
  • 1 fl oz St. Germain liqueur
  • 3⁄4 fl oz lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 3 fl oz brut champagne, or prosecco, or other dry sparkling wine
  • lemon twist, or peel, for serving
  • ice, for cocktail shaker

Instructions

  1. Combine the gin or vodka, St. Germain, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker.

  2. Fill the shaker with ice, cover, and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is very cold about 20 seconds.

  3. Strain into a champagne glass and top with champagne. Garnish with a lemon twist and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

Rub the inside of the lemon peel around the rim of the glass first. It gives the drink an extra burst of citrusy freshness and flavor.
