  • 8 oz tequila
  • 4 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz orange liqueur
  • 2 oz simple syrup
  • Lime wedges, for garnish
  • Coarse salt, for rimming the glasses
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Rim the glasses: Rub a lime wedge around the rims of each glass, then dip the rims in coarse salt to coat.

  2. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.

  3. Add tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and simple syrup to the shaker.

  4. Shake well for about 30 seconds to combine and chill the ingredients.

  5. Fill the rimmed glasses with ice cubes.

  6. Strain the margarita mixture into the glasses.

  7. Garnish each glass with a lime wedge.

  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
