How To Make KryptoNate Margarita

This margarita recipe may have the same color as the kryptonite but this will surely not weaken you. Refresh yourself with this amazing cocktail!

Ingredients

  • 1granny smith applediced
  • 2kale leavesstems removed
  • 2leaves romaine lettuce
  • 1celery stalkchopped
  • ½cupenglish cucumberchopped
  • ½cupice wateroptional
  • 1cupcrushed ice
  • 3ozSilver Tequila
  • 1ozsimple syrup
  • 1limejuiced
  • ¼cupkosher salt
  • 4lime wheels

Instructions

  1. Make the green juice: In a blender, combine the apple, kale, romaine, celery, and cucumber, and blend until smooth. Add ice water as needed to help the juice blend.

  2. Strain the juice through a fine-mesh sieve set over a medium bowl. Use the back of a wooden spoon to gently push the solids against the sieve to release as much liquid as possible.

  3. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then pour in green juice, Silver Tequila, simple syrup, and lime juice. Shake for about 20 seconds, until cold.

  4. Spread the salt on a small plate.

  5. Rub the rims of 2 glasses with a lime wheel, then dip in the salt to coat.

  6. Fill the glasses with crushed ice, then strain the cocktail into the glasses, dividing evenly. Garnish each glass with a fresh lime wheel.

  7. Enjoy!
