How To Make Hurricane Cocktail

Serve a sweet and boozy drink with this hurricane cocktail. It’s a blend of rum, passion fruit puree, and citrus juice ready in 5 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 2ozdark rum,like Myer’s Original Dark Rum
  • 2ozlight rum,like Mount Gay Silver Rum
  • ozpassion fruit purée
  • 1ozfreshly-squeezed orange juice
  • 1ozfreshly-squeezed lime juice
  • ½ozsimple syrup
  • ½ozgrenadine syrup

For Garnish:

  • orange slice
  • maraschino cherry

Instructions

  1. Add the ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Fill with 8 to 10 ounces crushed ice, then shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until the cocktail shaker is too cold to hold.

  2. Pour into a hurricane glass (don’t strain). Pop in a straw and garnish with an orange slice and maraschino cherry.
