
How To Make Fresh Honeydew Margarita
A glass of this refreshing honeydew margarita makes for a deliciously fruity summer drink! Serve up a couple of glasses in just 10 minutes.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1honeydew melon
For Salted Rims:
- 3partskosher salt
- 1partancho chili powder,or regular chili powder
- lime wedges
For Margarita:
- 2ozhoneydew juice,fresh
- 1½oztequila,preferably 100% agave silver or blanco tequila, or rum
- 1ozlime juice,fresh
- ½tspagave nectar,or simple syrup, optional, more to taste
Instructions

Mix together the salt and chili powder on a small, rimmed plate. Run a wedge of lime around the top of each glass.

Dip the top of the glass into the salt blend at a 45-degree angle, hen roll it from side to side to catch the salt. Add ice cubes to the glass, then set aside.
Honeydew Juice:

Use a chef’s knife to slice the melon in half. Scoop out the seeds using a big spoon, then discard them.

Use the spoon to scoop pieces of melon into the blender. Put on the lid of the blender, then blend until there are no remaining bits of melon.

Do not overfill the blender and work in batches, if necessary.
Margarita:

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then pour in the honeydew juice, tequila, and lime juice.

Put on the lid, then shake for 30 seconds. Taste and add agave nectar, if desired.

Strain the liquid into the prepared glass, serve, and enjoy!
