This caipirinha recipe is a tropical drink perfect for a hot summer day. It’s a refreshing drink that will perk you up instantly!
- 2 limes
- 1/2 cup cachaca sugar cane rum
- 6 tsp. superfine sugar
- Ice cubes as desired
Cut each lime into about 8 pieces and place the pieces in 2 rocks glasses.
- Sprinkle 3 tsp. of sugar over the limes in each glass.
- Crush the limes with a pestle or large wooden spoon.
Add 1/4 cup cachaca to each glass. Stir to mix and dissolve the sugar.
Add the ice and stir again. Serve immediately.
