How To Make Brandy Alexander Cocktail

This Brandy Alexander cocktail is made with brandy, creme de cacao. and heavy cream served over ice and finished with fresh nutmeg for added spice.

  • brandy,or Cognac
  • 1ozcreme de cacao
  • 1ozheavy cream
  • ice
  • grated nutmeg,preferably fresh


  1. Add liquid ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Add ice, shake for about 30 seconds, and then strain into a cocktail glass.

  2. Double strain using a tea strainer or a fine cocktail strainer for a smoother cocktail.

  3. Grate fresh nutmeg over the top and enjoy.
