
How To Make Blackberry and Thyme French 75
A French 75 is a classic cocktail drink that dates back to the first world war. This recipe comes with tart blackberries and earthy thyme for a tasty drink!

Ingredients
For Blackberry Thyme Simple Syrup:
- ½cupsugar
- ½cupwater
- blackberry
- 9fresh thyme sprigs
For Cocktail:
- ¼ozsimple syrup,blackberry thyme (from above)
- 1ozNOLET’S Gin
- ½ozlemon juice,freshly squeezed
- 1oztonic water
- 3blackberries,separated
- ½ozsparkling wine
- 1fresh thyme sprig,for garnish
Instructions
Blackberry Thyme Simple Syrup:

In a small pot, combine the sugar, water, blackberries, and thyme sprigs. Whisk well and bring to a simmer.

Let simmer for about 5 minutes and lightly crush the blackberries with a fork. Strain through a sieve and cool.
Cocktail:

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the prepared simple syrup, NOLET’S Gin, lemon juice, tonic water, and one blackberry. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.

Strain into a coupe glass and top with sparkling wine.

Garnish with a thyme sprig and remaining 2 blackberries, serve, and enjoy!
